Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” by the brothers of Grimm is a traditional tale that presents a very bad stereotype for girls and women. The story is about a pretty young princess and an evil queen. The pretty princess’s name is Snow White. She lives in a very beautiful palace. Her mother died as a result of illness, so her father marries another woman again. The evil queen becomes her stepmother. The evil queen has a magic mirror, and she always asks a question to magic mirror. “Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who in this land is fairest of all?” The magic mirror always responds: “You, my queen.” Nevertheless, one day, the magic mirror said:” You, my queen, are fair; it is true. But Little Snow-White is still a thousand times fairer than you.” She is very angry, and she starts to think some ways to kill Snow White. She calls a hunter to kill her, but it is fair. Afterwards, she makes some poisonous apples. She disguises herself as an old woman. The princess doesn’t have any doubt and eat it. She passes out right out. Seven dwarfs are really sad. After some days, there comes a handsome prince. Seven dwarfs tell him some things about Snow White. Afterwards, he kisses her. It is really magical that the princess regains consciousness. They tell her father, and kill the evil queen. Henceforward, they live a happy life.

The evil queen is a very bad model for girls and women. First, she is very selfish because she always thinks that she must be the most beautiful woman in the world. Second, she has an evil intention. She thinks many of bad ways to kill Snow White. It is really bad. Although we always think that Snow White doesn’t have any mistake in the story, I think that she shouldn’t believe that old woman easily. If she doesn’t have eaten it, she would be alright. Seven dwarfs don’t worry about her. I think that it is a good story for everyone. In the story, we learn many lessons, for example, we can’t believe strangers easily, we can’t have evil intention, we can’t be so selfish, and so on. If you remember these lessons, you will be a good person and live a happy life with Prince charming.

Write about your favorite TV program. Say what kind of program it is, describe what it is about, and explain why you like it.

There are more and more TV programs in the world. We can get much information from television, for example, news, music, sport, show, cartoon, and so on. We have many different choices now. All of the choices, music is my favorite.

My favorite TV program is Music Station. It is a musical program. In Japan, it is welcome among teenagers. In Japan, there is a splendid activity in every New Year’s Eve. It is a countdown party. Music Station will invite many singers who are the most popular. It is like Hong-bai in Japan. Every year, there are many people attending the countdown party.

Music Station begins broadcasting at 10 a.m. to 11a.m. in Taiwan. Every Saturday, I always turn on TV to watch the TV program. There are many new Japan popular songs in Music Station. There is new Japanese CD billboard by every week; therefore, we can know who the top one in this week is. Sometime, it also gives some musical information, for example, which song is the longest in Japan? It is really interesting. Afterwards, the host and hostess will introduce singers and their new songs. These singers will sing their songs after they end to talk. Every time, there are six or seven singers invited.

I like the program because of music. For me, music is necessary in my life. The program is very good. I always get some music information form Music Station. In Taiwan, it is good music program to introduce Japanese music. They usually invite many singers of different style; for example, rap, pop, heavy metal, rock, lyric, and so forth. That’s why I like this TV program.

Advertisement Skills

The photography is about Cadina. It is an advertisement about crisps. The celebrities representative are four young boys. They are also a term calls Circus. In Taiwan, they have a TV program in Channel V. Their program is calls Circus Action. The advertiser invites them to be the advertising stars. In their TV advertisement, they design a short film by using Cadina. It is really fun. In the meantime, they also announce to creative some create short films. In my opinion, it is obvious that the advertiser wants to appeal to their fans to buy the product; furthermore, they also want to appeal people to attend the contest. If there are many people attend it, the product will be very popular. I think that Cadina is a successful product because it uses a good advertising strategy with celebrity representative and creative contest. By the way, if you go to Carrefour to buy two bags Cadina, you will get a notepaper. One of Circus’s picture in it.

Are famous people treated unfairly by the media? Should they be given more privacy, or is the price of their fame an invasion into their privacy lives?
For these famous people, it stands to reason that they make a good performance on TV, for example, singing, dancing, acting, hosting, and so on. Nevertheless, it do not mean that their privacy should be reported by the media. In my opinion, I think that it is not fair for them.

For most people, to be a famous person is a distant dream; nevertheless, there are still many people who want to realize it. These famous people have a glorious image. Everyone loves them. However, for them it is just a part of performance on TV. On the contrary, when they finish their job, they still cannot relax in their life. The reason why the media are still working all the time because their fans want to know many different things in their life, for example, their marriage, affection, friend, family, school life, and so no. I disagree that famous people should be treated unfair by the media because I think that they only need to finish their job on TV. We love or hate them because of their performance on TV. Maybe the famous person is a bad guy or something else, but we may still give some encouragement to him or her. He or she is probably a good at performance yet behaves in a different way when he/her is off stage. For example, the is accused of domestic abuse; nevertheless, I still think that his performance and achievement in the movice 'I am Sam' can not be denied. Another reason I do not agree that the media invades into their privacy lives, and then some accidents are happened. The story is about Diana, Princess of Wales. Everybody knows that she died as a result of paparazzi. They wanted to follow Diana's car. Her driver wanted to break away from paparazzi. Afterwards, they had a serious car accident. I really don’t understand why the media cannot give more privacy for these famous people.

I think that these famous people should not assent to their behavior. They need to be given more privacy in their life. The media should give more freedom to these famous people, and they will have a stable mood to make a perfect performance.

Diary

Yesterday, my friends and I went to SHIN KONG MITSUKOSHI DEPARTMENT STORE for shopping. There were many people that day because the Mother's day is coming. All the products were discounted, especially for cosmetics. We stayed there about three hours. It was happy because we bought many things that we wanted. They were really cheap. I bought three polo shirts and a bottle of perfume. Afterwards, we went to night market for dinner. We were surprised because there were few people in the night market. Maybe the time was too late. It was about ten o'clock. We walked for a long time to search Oyster thin noodles. It was really delicious. After dinner, we started to play some games in the night market, for example, cookie box. It was really fun. For me, yesterday was really the happiest day in these weeks.
